The pond and trails
At the heart of Walton Pond is a seven-acre spring-fed pond, home to fish, frogs, newts and turtles. Fish from the shore, watch for wildlife or find a quiet place beside the water.

Time outside.
More than 2.5 miles of trails wind through the wooded hillside. Deer visit the grounds, and geese stop at the pond during their spring and fall migrations.
Come for summer days outdoors, fall foliage and crisp woodland walks, or snowshoeing and sledding when winter conditions allow. Visit the hens at the chicken coop, explore Delaware County and nearby towns, or plan a day of skiing at Plattekill or Belleayre.
Make Walton Pond your base for a weekend or a longer stay, with time to explore and a warm house to return to.
